(Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil)

With a tropical climate and plenty of sunny weather all through the year, the city of Natal enjoys daytime temperatures averaging around 29°C / 84°F or 30°C / 86°F, and roughly 3,000 hours of annual sunshine. Being located in Brazil, south of the equator, the seasons of Natal are the opposite of those to the north.

Although temperatures remain constant, the seasonal climates are fairly distinct, being most easily characterized by the levels of rainfall and coastal winds.

Seasonal Climate Variations / When to Go

During the winter climate, Natal sees daytime temperatures averaging around 28°C / 82°F and little in the way of rainy weather. October, November and December are reliably the driest months, when average precipitation levels rarely top 2 cm / 11 inches each month.
